Lecture by Dr. Robyn Long, of Baker University.
Dr. Long will present you with background information about Artist Vincent Van Gogh, moving chronologically through his life. She leads you through his childhood, family influences, religious history, relationships, mental health challenges, and his art. There will be a visual component to the program.
Doors at 6:30pm, program 6:45-8:15pm with a 15-minute intermission. There will be time for a short Q&A following the program. Cash bar, including nonalcoholic drinks, will be available. Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center and the Lawrence Art Guild will have informational tables at the event. This event is free and open to the public.
